Cimarron Farm
About Us |
We are happy to announce that we are now open for boarding ! We offer a small, quiet place for your dog to stay, for one or two nights, or an extended stay! Our goal for our boarding facility is to have a place that is as much like home as possible, less stress and quieter than a regular kennel, and more fun! We have a beautiful, secluded 21 acres in the country, with several large dog yards for lots of outdoor playtime, with or without other dogs, depending on what your dog likes. Also lots of space for long walks. We have large individual enclosures for each dog, in our heated kennel building. These are big enough for their bed, toys etc, and give them plenty of room to move around and be comfortable when they are inside. We can accommodate special needs as far as diets, exercise restrictions, surgery recovery, etc. Also very nice for small dogs, or any dogs, that do not do well in a normal noisy, stressful boarding kennel environment. We require current vaccinations and flea control. Bordetella must be within the last year, recommended within the last 6 months. Some titers, for Parvo and Distemper, will be accepted on older dogs, AT THE OWNERS RISK !! ( See boarding contract ). No aggressive dogs please,
GENERAL BOARDING INFORMATION :
Current vaccines are required : DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. Please bring the dogs records with you when you come, I do need to see them. Vaccines are available here also. ( DHPP and Bordetella ) Current flea control is required. This is for your pets protection. Frontline or Advantage applied within the last 3 weeks, please bring proof if possible. If dogs are on an oral monthly flea product ( Program, Sentinel ), I would still recommend applying a topical prior to their stay. All dogs will be checked for fleas on arrival, and treated as needed, at the owner's expense. Topical flea treatments are available here if needed. We recommend bringing your dogs own food, it is much easier on them not to switch diets, but it is not mandatory that you do so. It is fine to bring their beds, toys, etc, whatever will make them feel more at home. At this time we do not have bathing facilities here, and the dogs do play outside, so they may go home a little dirty, but happy ! You may want to make an appointment with your regular groomer for them to have a bath. Please call or email if you have questions, or would like to set up a time to visit. Thank you !
